The other day, we started off our day with a record low -- breaking a record from 1903.
I'm not complaining, though. It's not much fun being cold, BUT personally, I'd take this cold stuff any day over the Kansas 105 degrees we sometimes get in the summer.
So, here we are in November, and snow is covering the crowd (though I think it's going to melt today)....
We haven't been very fun parents with the numbers of snow boots either of our kids have had.
Last weekend, knowing the snow was coming, I did actually take the kids to get snow boots. I purchased Kate some AWESOME "Hello Kitty" boots! Unfortunately, we couldn't find Luke any good boots. Hopefully, that situation can be remedied within the next week!
Kate looked sad at first all bundled up!
Another pic -- just for the hat and boots....
Kate & I did some shopping in the larger city near us yesterday! Again, she *had* to wear the boots!
And then, I did something I simply *might* regret...for the first time, I let her sit in the back of the cart instead of the front seat...I lost track of how many times I said, "Kate -- sit on your bottom"! Sigh...As I often say, though..."at least she's cute"!
