The verses that have REALLY spoken to me (Sarah) lately....

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I Peter 5:8-9

Ah....Fall!

For me, fall is the BEST time of year. Even here in Kansas, the fall colors are tremendous. A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity (through my job with International Dairy Queen) to spend the week of Halloween down in the Missouri Ozarks! That was one of the best drives I've ever experienced.

Anyways, last night, all three of us went for a nice walk -- well, Luke was in the stroller seeing how he can't exactly walk yet. I took the camera along to take some photos of the colorful trees. These pictures don't exactly show the true perfection of the color, but you get the point.

I'm sure some scientists would be able to explain it to me perfectly just what causes the color. Quite frankly, I don't know that I care how it happens. I just enjoy looking at God's creative coloring.
