The verses that have REALLY spoken to me (Sarah) lately....

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I Peter 5:8-9

From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being. A Little Nature Walk With A Friend...

Luke wanted his friend, Lily, to come over. They hadn't seen each other in over a month.

Lily came over yesterday, and so, we all quickly darted out because rain was coming (saw it on the radar). They both wanted to go on a nature walk (poor Kate had to ride in the stroller)....

Luke & Lily each took a bag along to collect rocks, flowers, sticks, etc. Luke also had a jar to attempt to get an insect or two!

Lily is MUCH more of a risk taker than Luke. So, she was generally waiting on Luke to climb on rocks, etc....She's pretty good about waiting on him.

These two have been in preschool the last 2 years together. They will be in different schools for kindergarten. I think Luke is a little sad about that, but I also know he'll make new friends! And, you know, since their parents are friends, they'll still see each other some (and probably fight -- Ha)!

In the meantime, hopefully, they can get together a few more times this summer!

Here they are catching bugs together (or at least attempting to)....(they did ultimately catch a whopping ONE ladybug after multiple attempts at other insects)....
