The verses that have REALLY spoken to me (Sarah) lately....

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. I Peter 5:8-9

From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being. Luke's Dedication....

This post is to continue on with our big weekend (last weekend -- remember, I'm a bit behind on blog posts). Anyways, on Sunday, September 14, Luke was dedicated at church. He did fairly well on stage; however, toward the end, he started to fuss a bit. Since Luke doesn't like to take a pacifier very much (he prefers sucking on one of our fingers), I had to have him suck on my finger for about a minute or two to get him through the dedication without crying.

Both sets of grandparents were able to come to Luke's dedication. Afterwards, Marc insisted that Luke told him he wanted to go out for pizza. So, we all went out for pizza -- Marc's favorite and apparently, Luke's favorite as well.

Luke was dedicated with two other little boys whose parents are in our sunday school class. So, Luke, Mason, and Ryan were all dedicated during the same church service. Here's a photo of the photos of the three boys.
