I have a couple of non-Luke related posts in mind, but I don't have them formulated yet.
So, for now....how about a few more shots of our kid?
Lately, we've been just kind of "living life...."
Here are a few shots of our little guy who, each day, is becoming more and more like a little boy.
For four Thursdays (in April and May), Luke was once again enrolled in a Toddler Gym Class at our local recreation center. Click HERE for some photos from this same class back in January.
First....and this is totally random....here's a cute photo of Luke I took while we were stopped waiting on a train here in town -- on the way to this very gym class. Fortunately, we weren't late :)
(The reason I'm posting this photo is because Marc and I both think he looks SO grown up in this photo for only being almost 3).
On the last day of this gym class, it was nice. So, the instructor gave each child some bubbles, and we spent time outside with bubbles....
If you look closely at these photos, you'll notice droplets of liquid on the concrete behind Luke. Yep, that would be Luke's spilled bubbles -- a very common thing, I know, for small children who haven't yet grasped the concept of properly holding the bottle to avoid this very phenomenon.
And NO -- Mr. Independent Luke does NOT allow either of us to help him. (Hmmmm....I wonder where he got this sense of independence? Could it be from his father and mother?)
And, yesterday (Tuesday, the 10th), Luke's friend, C, invited him over to play with his sprinkler ball. It was nice and warm as if you're a reader of this blog NOT in Kansas, let me tell you -- it's been HOT for May over the last several days.
The nice thing about Luke's friend, C, is that I enjoy talking with his mom, J.....nice way to spend part of an afternoon.
(Luke's in the blue Hawaiian swim trunks -- with the very white skin. Hmmmm....could he be a descendent of the Germans?)
And, just for fun -- here's a photo of Luke from today -- going down a slide at a local playground. His legs just look so long in this photo!
