We ate at none other than Dairy Queen (a.k.a. DQ)....

Yes, International Dairy Queen is my former employer. And yes, Luke's Uncle Joel (a.k.a. Joo -- in "Luke Speak") does manage this particular location. (Joel is my brother).
But, you might remember from my previous post that DQ is a HUGE contributor to Children's Miracle Network -- an organization that provides for sick kids and their families.
One day a year, in August, participating DQs in the USA and in Canada donate a percentage of their proceeds from ALL Blizzards sold to Children's Miracle Network. Today, August 5, was the day this year.
So, not only did we visit a DQ with which I used to work with as well as visit "Joo," but we also supported a wonderful organization by eating yummy Blizzards in the middle of what is turning out to be a very hot summer in Kansas.
Luke did not have a Blizzard, despite the day....He did, however, enjoy some very yummy DQ soft serve. And yes, someday, when he's older, we will let him a Blizzard on occasion. For right now, he's VERY content with a child-sized dish of soft serve.

BUT, Marc and I both did partake of a Blizzard treat.

And, because I had the camera, there are obviously more photos of Marc than of myself -- which is certainly O.K. with me :)
I hope you all don't mind "Goofy Marc" shots....

Now, Marc and I did order the same kind of Blizzard today....Here's the question....What kind of Blizzard did we both order? Hint: It's not the most usual kind in the world....
Leave a comment if you care to guess. Nope, I don't have any fancy dancy prizes. But, you may certainly have bragging rights, for whatever that is worth :)
Was the flavor....
a) Tropical
b) German Chocolate
c) Double Fudge Cookie Dough
d) Mud Pie
